K9 MOLD DETECTION 

We have once again Separated ourselves from the competition by adding another tool to our mold investigation service.  We have trained a  Black Labrador retriever named PIPER to find mold hidden in walls where a regular inspector might not be able to find it.  This is beneficial to the client because it can locate where the mold is hidden & save unnecessary testing costs to try to locate where the source of the mold is. Once piper alerts to a source hidden mold, He is trained to sit where he has found it.  His reward for finding it is praise & his favorite toy, A stinky old rope.

 NEW PROCEDURE FOR MOLD REMEDIATION

Cobak now offers DRY ICE BLASTING for removing mold in homes & businesses. This procedure uses dry ice pellets the size of rice.  It is similar to sand blasting but without the sand to clean up. The ice is blasted at 180 cfm with air that has little or no moisture in it.  When it impacts the surface it cleans the surface & turns into gaseous form after impact.  This technique is beneficial in attics & basements where mold has infested into the wood around nails where sanding can't reach.  Without having to clean up the media that would be left over with other techniques, there is less labor hours invested in cleanup.  This procedure is not a cure all. We use this & other remediation techniques to solve mold infestation in wood, metal, & concrete structures.
